Be part of an exciting new initiative to expand the school’s garden program by constructing a greenhouse that will serve as a hands-on learning space for students. Join us in creating a space where curiosity can grow year-round!
MISSION
The outdoor space of Dr. Lena Edwards Charter School, includes a school garden which is a hands-on learning space where students connect with nature and explore science, sustainability, and healthy living. This garden is integral to the school's Health and Wellness program, where students will continue to grow, harvest, and enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables through the rest of the year!
On the day
You will have transport taking you to the school from City Hall and to the after-party
Wear clothes and shoes you’re comfortable getting dirty in.
Gloves and supplies will be provided.
